Violeta Hvar - Hvar Town

We stayed 3 nights here, yet it was a really amazing experience. The host met us with warm welcome.

The apartment was fantastic with a beautiful view overlooking the bay. It was kept extremely clean and had all the necessary amenities. the location was brilliant, just a five-minute walk from the main town and close to the beach. the owners, Urska and her husband, were very accommodating and spent time with us to provide useful tips on the best places to visit and how to get there.

The owners made us feel like family and nothing was too much trouble.

it was beautiful and quiet apartment with quiet ambience. magnificent location, amazing view. not to mention easy 10 mins walk from stores and small markets, plus excellent restaurants all around. chilled out in kiva bar, located close to the venue. the staff were efficient, cared about us, thank you.

The best part of Violeta Hvar is the couple who owns it. They are extremely friendly, starting with when they pick you up to ensure you don't get lost. They also cook dinner for their guests on occasion so we got lucky and had a lasagna dinner with them and 3 other guests. The food was amazing and the conversation lively, so it made for a very memorable experience! The room itself is very clean and includes a fridge. We also had a sea view which was well worth the small incremental cost. The location is very close to the beach and the old town, but does require walking up a hill which wasn't an issue for us.

The room didn't have cups which was a small thing but a little inconvenient. Wifi was spotty (even though our room was closest to the modem) but we soon learned that this is common with hotels in Europe.

The setting was stunning. Moreover, it was in coastal area near to a unique restaurant in an abandoned village up a mountain side, a hill with steps and the center of the town. We had a relaxing experience here for 2 nights and did not want to leave.

All made for an amazing stay for 2 nights. I truly enjoyed the host, and the staff was extremely friendly. Room was basic, but newly remodelled and well-appointed with a kitchenette. For breakfast I went to an outdoor restaurant.

Thanks very much for excellent stay for 2 nights and close to the sea, Pakleni Islands and the harbour, a local vineyard, and the shop and beach. Good to have modern and updated room with an amazing view. It has stunning setting next to Bonj beach club. I tried authentic meals in outdoor restaurant, located nearby.

Overall fine stay for 2 nights. Reasonably clean, modern place right by centre of hvar as well as the nice beach areas. Beautiful setting down to the city center.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely hotel in Hvar! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the town center and the beautiful swimming beaches. The hotel staff gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, with daily housekeeping maintaining a pristine environment. The views from our room were amazing, especially during the magnificent sunsets. Despite a small communication hiccup upon arrival, the owners were great too make us feel comfortable, even gifting us with homegrown grapes and figs. I highly recommend this hotel for its great hospitality, cleanliness, and fantastic location.

Proximity to town - only a 10 minute walk

Very thin doors which were difficult to close. It meant that even when guests were trying to be quiet (our fellow guests didn't try hard at all), the doors would still slam loudly.

It had a great setting close to the sea, Pakleni Islands and the harbour, and bus station. Also, it was based close to everything. Overall had a fabulous experience for 2 nights.

The place was quiet and perfectly clean, I felt like home. Staff were lovely, had a fabulous stay for 2 nights. Everything was simply brand-new. I ate in an outdoor restaurant. And I enjoyed that I could visit supermarkets and a grocery shop in the area. I stayed once before and recommend it.

Modern accommodation with nicely decorated and well-appointed rooms next to the main centre, and one stretch of steps. Extremely friendly and excellent staff. Very clean beds, views over the sea and the islands. Excellent setting on the surface everything appears quite clean.

I had the most amazing stay at Violeta Hvar! The view from my private terrace was fine, and the room itself was super comfortable and beautifully decorated. The beds and pillows were so cozy, and there was plenty of wardrobe space for all my belongings. I also loved having a table and chairs on the terrace, perfect for enjoying the view. The bathroom and towels were great, and I appreciated the abundance of coat hangers. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the center of town and the beach. The hosts were friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm welcome and providing excellent service. I had a fantastic experience and I highly recommend Violeta Hvar to anyone visiting Hvar Island.

The view from the balcony was just fantastic, we enjoyed just sitting there and watching the Hvar town and the islands. Rooms were clean and ok standrad, although not being luxurious. The locaton was perfect, only few minutes walk to the center. Car parking facility was good and we were alowed the keep thecar there even after. Checked out as we left the island only in the eveing. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I would really recommend this accomodation to anyone visiting Hvar.

Breafast would have been nice, but this is something typical to Croatian accomodations that breakfast normally is not included. Only cash payments, no credit cards accepted.
